Bite-Sized Challenges
Description: This workshop is designed for novice to intermediate agility teams looking to build confidence, improve handling skills, and work through fun technical challenges in a supportive environment. Exercises and sequences will be adaptable to the individual team, making this a great opportunity for young dogs gaining experience as well as teams looking to continue developing their current skills.
Teams will work through sequences of up to 5 to 10 obstacles, with more challenging sections broken down into smaller, bite-sized pieces as needed to help teams build understanding and success. Skills and challenges may include handling techniques, layering, backside approaches, threadles, obstacle commitment, and introductory distance work.
Jumps, tunnels, and weaves may be incorporated into exercises. Sequences can be modified for dogs still developing weave proficiency or other foundational skills. This workshop is best suited for dogs and handlers working at the novice to intermediate level.
